Last week the news came. After 15 years in Manhattan, Henrik Lundqvist is removed from the contract with the New York Rangers.

Henrik Lundqvist left Frölunda for New York in 2005 and has been a giant at the club for just over a decade.
He tweeted last night: “I still want to WIN!”
However, despite a strong resume, he lacks a Stanley Cup title and, following the announcement, there has been much speculation about the future of the 38-year-old.
And overnight, Lundqvist himself sparked the conversation with a tweet hinting that he is eager to continue his NHL career.

The Hurricanes, Vegas Golden Knights and Washington Capitals have previously been mentioned as teams where Lundqvist can continue his career.
