Firefighters are fighting a fire that is breaking out in an apartment building in Hällefors. The rescue service was alerted at 05 in the morning. At the scene, they encountered a fully developed fire.
At 07:00, the rescue service is still in place. Above all, it must burn at one end. Nobody was hurt. Neighbors next door, however, have chosen to evacuate due to smoke that has spread to the apartments.
According to Hans Lindblom, team leader in the Bergslagen Rescue Region, earlier this week a fire broke out in the same building, a two-story property. Since then, the property has been empty.
– The fire has broken out again for unclear reasons. We have had technical problems with the water supply, but when it is fixed, we can start extinguishing from the outside without problems. There is no risk of spread, says Lindblom.
