Fredrik Lindgren took home another World Cup bronze.
The Pole secured his second World Cup title in two years when he finished second in the first semi-final, behind Fredrik Lindgren.
– It was extremely tough and the bodywork didn’t feel good at all after the accident in yesterday’s race, but I’m very happy about this. I’m a double world champion, which is incredible, he says.
– I’m among great heroes like Tony Rickardsson and Niki Pedersen. It is difficult to assimilate.
The motorcycle crashed
In the final, he continued to impress and took victory in the competition. Fredrik Lindgren, who had a very good race to the final, finished fourth since his bike broke down shortly after the start.
That result meant the Swede finished fourth in the competition, leading him and multiple world champion Tai Woffinden to finish on the same World Cup points. Therefore, the battle for the World Cup silver was decided in a directly decisive heat.
Woffinden took the start, victory and silver at this year’s World Cup. Lindgren took the second World Cup bronze of his career.
