Kanye West expresses his condolences to Donald Trump after the president of the United States fell ill with covid-19. In a post on Twitter, the rap star writes that he prays for the recovery of Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump.

“There is a pressing need for kindness in society. We need and must unite in the name of Jesus. I pray for the recovery of President Trump and Melania, just as I would have done for Joe and Jill Biden if they had fallen ill, and just as I do. for anyone suffering from covid-19 “.

According to Billboard, it is not the only known profile that has expressed sympathy, Cardi B, 50 Cent and several other artists have done so through social networks.

Kanye West announced last summer that he will run in the presidential election and is now running as an independent. However, he has not been able to register his candidacy in several states and therefore voters cannot vote for him across the country, such as Joe Biden or Donald Trump.

TMZ reported earlier that day that Kanye West had at least ended up on the ballot in California, but as vice president of independent candidate Roque De La Fuente Guerra.
