Four young people have been taken to hospital after a car accident on the outskirts of Trelleborg. The young men, all under 18 and one under 15, were detained by the police for a control at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
Instead, the driver increased his speed in an attempt to escape. But shortly after, the car went off the road and down a slope. The four managed to get out of the car and tried to flee the scene.
Two of the young men were immediately captured. The other two managed to escape, but were found with the help of police sniffer dogs.
– When you go off the road like that, there is high speed violence in the car. That is why we take emergency services and ambulance care for safety. His assessment is that all four will go to hospital, police spokesman Richard Lundqvist told TT.
The driver is suspected of various traffic offenses, including illegal driving. Two of the passengers are themselves suspected of minor drug-related crimes.
