Lost to Malmö – it’s a new SHL jumbo

Färjestad collapsed in the middle period against Malmö and conceded three goals.
One of those who received harsh criticism was team captain Gustav Rydahl.

After a goalless first period, Malmö accounted for three unanswered goals in the interim period against the top team Färjestad.
Hill Oliver Lauridsen scored first on a free kick and the lead was widened by Ponthus Westerholm followed by Jesper Jensen Aabo.
– This is not how we want to play hockey. We want speed and tear with the puck: a fucking go pretty simple. We are not there at all, said Per Åslund from Färjestad in C More after the interim period.
“Cheating”

Former national team defender Kronwall was “upset” and Niklas Wikegård agreed.

– In the situation we find ourselves in now, it is important that we get the right side of the game and that the leading players show the way and do what we have said. We push ourselves, it’s a little overwhelming and that’s the way it is sometimes in hockey, says Pennerborn.
