Davidson says that for the Rangers it’s about “building a winning team.”
– It will take time, we’re not even close yet. Then everything comes into play. But best of all, Henrik was very sincere and we were very sincere and he has such a strong affinity with the Rangers so I think we will have a strong relationship for many years, says Davidson.
The 38-year-old Lundqvist made 887 regular-season games for the Rangers and has more than 50 club records, including most wins by a goalkeeper, most games played, highest save percentage, most playoff games played and most zeros saved.
