– It is regrettable and shameful what has happened. We are completely open that something went wrong here. It has also meant that we discontinued all recruiting, the regiment’s manager of human resources, Marcus Rönnqvist, told SVT when the news broke.

Later, an individual reported the Skaraborg regiment to the Ombudsman:

“I believe the Authority has written the ad for a specific person and therefore tried to circumvent transparency within the authority.”the notifier wrote.

The Ombudsman has initiated an investigation of the case and has asked the Armed Forces to comment. This has already been done, through ÖB Micael Bydén.

Armed Forces: More have been able to apply
