All 10 Swedish cameras are currently working full time on their cooperative action horror game GTFO, but recently the gang had to seek financial support abroad. And the gang has received it in the form of Chinese Tencent who bought “a big chunk” of 10 Chambers. How much and how much money Tencent spent on the development study is currently unknown.
With the added hug, 10 Chambers founder Ulf Andersson announces that developers get more creative freedom and the opportunity to complete the game. More specifically, Andersson says this about the situation:
“We needed to find a partner who would give us the creative freedom to reach these new heights, while at the same time supporting our long-term commitment to the GTFO community. For the future of the studio as a whole, it makes it even more exciting.”
GTFO was released as an Early Access game in December, but it is currently unknown when a final release will take place.
