Out with Alexander Bard and LaGaylia Frazier. Sarah Dawn Finer and Edward af Saddle at. Bianca Ingrosso and David Batra remain.
The new “Talent” jury can be, as you can imagine, a little calmer, a little friendlier and more harmonious.
The only question is whether it is an advantage or a disadvantage for the program.
Alexander Bard has been dedicated to provoking the Swedish opinion broker on Twitter for many years. But when he criticized the Black lives Matter movement in the early summer, it finally became impossible for TV4 to keep him as a jury member on what is basically a children’s show, and the channel broke up the collaboration.
Just fine? Or a slightly anxious and hypocritical channel that consciously rowed for years with hell in the boat and profited from its evil, but then suddenly, with the knife to its throat, still did not dare to take it ashore?
Well … Today when TV4 presents the new jury constellation in a press release, at least it is not mentioned in a word.
It’s like he’s been enchanted in one of those magic acts he hated.
Poff!
LaGaylia Frazier however, he receives a cryptic revelation. She goes on “to new and exciting assignments.”
It is not entirely clear if she continues voluntarily or if she is pushed towards the door. But you know what you think.
In any case, it is clear that it will be Sarah Dawn Finer Y Eduardo de Sillén replacing Bard and Frazier. Professionals and connoisseurs of both. She as, among other things, singer and presenter, he as screenwriter, director and general connoisseur of pop culture.
They feel like two safe options. I don’t know if any of them will be able to match Frazier in terms of oversized American emotional expressions with sweeping gestures, splatters of tears, and irrational facial expressions, but at least Finer can certainly deliver big thrills when the occasion calls for it. And it happens quite often on a show where even the people in the audience seem to have been instructed that they appear to have gone through the most important moment of their lives EVERY FIVE MINUTES.
And if nothing else, there is always Bianca ingrosso, which has no problem in dropping the chin and putting the dandruff in order – against invoice, of course.
But who will take Bard’s place as the bully of the jury and the mincemeat in one?
Probably none. This guarantees that there will be a different, friendlier and harmonious dynamic in the jury this spring.
Maybe it’s boring.
Maybe it’s nice.
In any case, TV4 should not have to worry about scandal headlines worse than at most the one that Ingrosso has been and has fixed something in a clinic again.
