Last season, the jury consisted of Alexander Bard, David Batra, Bianca Ingrosso and LaGaylia Frazier.
Now the jury changes. Batra and Ingrosso can instead be a jury member along with Sarah Dawn Finer and Edward af Sillén.
– I am so happy and confident, says Bianca Ingrosso about her new colleagues.
“As curious as it is expectant”
Edward af Sillén, screenwriter and director, says in a press release that he loves to “entertain himself.”
– I am as curious as I am expectant and I look forward to contributing with an experienced director’s eye and enthusiasm for broad entertainment, he says.
David Bara explains that he is looking forward to a new season “Talent”.
– I’m sick of being tagged to see what exciting new talents are going for and also what great new members of this year’s jury are going, says in the press release.
Alexander Bard was forced to leave the jury after criticizing Black Lives Matter this spring. He said, among other things, that blacks should “get together, study hard, get a job, and earn their own money instead of living on benefits.”
Ingrosso distanced himself
Bianca Ingrosso distanced herself from the statement and said she no longer intended to serve on the same jury as Alexander Bard.
LaGaylia Frazier, who has been on the jury since 2016, is moving on to new assignments. TV4 describes her as “loved and appreciated” among viewers.
The recording of the new season of “Talent” begins next week.
The host is Pär Lernström with Samir Badran as a partner. The premiere is this spring.
