Even when it comes to social distancing, he hasn’t been very inclined to follow the advice. Now opponents are sure to say “this is how it goes if you don’t follow the advice,” Blanck says.
TT: Can the message generate sympathy for the president, as in the case of Boris Johnson?
– Then, of course, people feel sorry for him. It depends on the seriousness of the situation. There will surely be expressions of sympathy from both supporters and opponents. It is the president who is ill, says Blanck.
