The moderates want to replace the government but do not intend to file a vote of no confidence against Prime Minister Stefan Löfven together with the Left Party because of the last issue.

Moderate Leader Ulf Kristersson regrets that there was no agreement between trade unions and employers on labor legislation.
“It would have been very good with a good deal. But now, obviously, it didn’t work and then politics must take responsibility and ensure that we have a better functioning labor market, ”he says.
The Left Party has previously threatened to try to overthrow Stefan Löfven if the government goes ahead with the latest investigation. But the party does not have enough seats in the Riksdag to file a vote of no confidence on its own.
YV, apparently, cannot count on the help of moderates.
“We will not use the Party of the Left as a threat to stop reforms that we think are important,” says Ulf Kristersson.
“Now it is about implementing important reforms that are important for the Swedish labor market. If the Left Party wants to change its government at a later stage, we will definitely be part of it. “
Ulf Kristersson considers that the latest research solves some important problems, which have been debated for a long time in Sweden.
“So I really think a much broader modernization would be needed,” he says and continues:
“That was probably what the parties tried to do. But when they are unsuccessful in their mission, politics must take responsibility for it.”
