A man in Hällefors has been arrested on suspicion of arson. The fire started Wednesday night in an apartment in an apartment building and then spread to other parts of the property. It is not yet clear if anyone was injured.
– We have not been inside the apartment where the fire started, so we do not know if there is anyone left there. But no one is writing at the address, says Christina Hallin, a press spokeswoman for the Bergslagen police.
The police will barricade around the property when the rescue service is ready on the scene. Forensic scientists will look for clues.
– We will conduct interrogations with the suspect. We also spoke with residents of the property and other witnesses who were at the scene, says Christina Hallin.
