After being convicted of investigation fraud, former Karolinska Institutet Deputy Chancellor Karin Dahlman-Wright is appealing to the administrative court, reports Läkartidningen.
Three weeks ago, the Research Dishonesty Review Board (NPOF) declared that the image postings in four scientific papers with Dahlman-Wright as a co-author or corresponding author, were tampering and, within the meaning of the law, forgeries.
Dahlman-Wright has been “grossly negligent” and guilty of misconduct, according to the NPOF. Suspicions of cheating emerged in 2018 and were investigated by the University of Gothenburg.
In her appeal, Dahlman-Wright demands that the NPOF overturn the decision “as there is no basis to conclude that I have been guilty of misconduct in the investigation.” You also want a respite from filing supplemental documents.
