The rules of the debate will change after the first meeting of Trump and Biden

The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) is an independent organization that has organized all presidential debates since 1988. Its promises of new rules are made in connection with the debate held between President Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Joe Biden on Wednesday for the night, Swedish time.

The debate has mainly described as chaos. The moderator, Fox news reporter Chris Wallace, repeatedly asked Donald Trump to let his counter-debate speak about it. However, the president continued to violate the traditional order where it is the moderator who distributes the word.

“Can you keep quiet?” Joe Biden once said to Donald Trump.

It is not clear what rules will be introduced. CPD writes in its statement that it “carefully considers what changes need to be made.” The measures, which will ensure order in future discussions, will be announced shortly.

The CPD further expresses its appreciation to Chris Wallace for the “skill and professionalism” he contributed during the debate.
