Energy Minister Anders Ygeman (S) was going to be called to the Business Committee at Tuesday’s meeting to explain himself, but he has more with him.
– A unanimous committee decided now on Tuesday to call Anders Ygeman, but also the Energy Market Inspectorate and the Svenska kraftnät, says Lars Hjälmered (M), Chairman of the Business Committee.
He was the Minister of Energy Anders Ygeman (S), who lobbied for power grid companies to collect billions in additional revenue over the next few years. At the same time, DN has revealed that the Svenska Kraftnät authority already had a plan that meets the energy needs in Skåne with great success.
The agreement with the electricity grid companies has now become a bill to be submitted to the Riksdag.
– For the moderates, it is an open question if we should support the government bill, he says and points out ambiguities.
– We request the documents of the government agreement with Eon and the electricity grid companies. But we got the answer that there were no documents. I think it was weird, it was a flagship project and there wasn’t even a PM, just a press release, says Lars Hjälmered.
The Center Party has announced who intend to vote no on the bill after DN’s disclosure. Swedish Democrats demanded that the relevant authorities be convened to the committee and Liberals in Skåne are pushing for Anders Ygeman to be called to the constitutional committee.
Anders Ygeman wrote on Twitter Monday night that he will invite broad dialogue about the power grid.
