– This is an important message, although I understand that it does not solve all problems, says Mikael Damberg.
It stresses that it is not possible to guarantee that the rules will actually change on October 15. If the spread of the infection continues, the government may make a new decision to postpone the audience increase.

As of October 8, the rules for restaurants and cafes that have not been able to act will also be changed if there have been more than 50 people on site.
The government also assigns a task to the Swedish Public Health Agency on how certain designated activities such as flea markets, demonstrations and more will be regulated.
