A large television was one of the finds in the “man cave” discovered during Grand Central Terminal in New York.
A small private room adjacent to one of the most famous train stations in the world doesn’t sound bad. But three railroad workers suspected of setting one up in New York now have retaliation pending.
A half-drunk can of beer, microwave and connected TV. These were some of the finds in the specially decorated room below the Grand Central Station.
Inspectors from the MTA transportation authority say they have strong signals that the three men are behind the invention. They have now been suspended from work without pay, pending a hearing.
Carolyn Pokorny, an MTA inspector, says in a statement that many New Yorkers have probably fantasized about being able to “retire with a cold beer” in Manhattan.
“But few would have the guts to set up a secret room under Grand Central Terminal and turn it into their own ‘man cave,'” Pokorny continues.
Back in 2019, the MTA received anonymous complaints that people were partying in a secret space.
