The threat was discovered yesterday at lunchtime. One of the school bathrooms read: “School shooting 9/25”.
The school reported the incident directly to the police. The police have been on the scene and the tutors and students have been informed.
– Tomorrow we will have teaching as usual. But we will only have one entrance and exit where everyone who passes will be inspected. We will also have guards on site, says Director Patrik Backman.
Shooting threat even last winter
A similar incident occurred at the same school. in February this year when there was also a written threat of a school shooting in one of the bathrooms.
– It is a serious matter in every way. Of course, very serious if it turns out that there is a justification for the threat, but also serious that someone, perhaps due to lack of knowledge, expresses himself that way, through threats, says Patrik Backman.
Regular teaching
He says he does not experience any significant concern among students or tutors about the threat. Some parents have said that they should have their child home tomorrow, but otherwise the plan is for the teaching to continue as planned.

Police involved
The police dialogue with the school.
– Of course, we must take these kinds of threats seriously. I cannot explain exactly what we policemen do, but we have a dialogue with the school management and we follow up on the situation, says Lars Hedelin, press spokesman for the Bergslagen police region.
