Starting September 29, travelers can fly SAS directly to China from Copenhagen. After an eight-month break, the airline announced Thursday that direct flights to the world’s most populous country were again an option.

“The air connection between Scandinavia and China is of great importance for trade. Following the green light from the Chinese authorities, SAS is now able to meet the demand for business travel and transportation. “

SAS resumes direct flights to China

The Copenhagen – Shanghai route will have one flight a week.

If all goes well, SAS will also offer direct flights to Beijing at the end of October, provided the authorities allow it.

Additionally, SAS writes that in the current uncertainty with travel recommendations or restrictions, they will offer travelers to redeem already booked tickets for travel vouchers. This will apply to all international SAS flights until January 15 of next year.
