The Minister for Gender Equality, Åsa Lindhagen, announces that she is a candidate to assume the position of spokesperson in the Green Party after Isabella Lövin, she herself writes in DN Debatt.

“The Green Party is a party that defends people who are having a hard time. However, I often find the image that we are a middle-class party in big cities. But we have always been on the side of vulnerable people. and it should be much clearer to voters. ” writes in the discussion article.

Lindhagen has previously announced that he is “seriously considering” running for office.

MP Rebecka Le Moine and one of the party’s group leaders, Annika Hirvonen, are also candidates for the position, as are the group’s other leader, Janine Alm Ericson, and the party’s secretary, Märta Stenevi. The new mouthpiece will be chosen at an additional congress early next year.
