Olof Lundh’s new book “The National Team According to Lundh” has drawn strong reactions. Most of the reactions have been about what is written about Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s stage in the national team.
“Zlatan was terribly tough on Rasmus (Elm) and broke it even though he tried to respond. Hamrén stood still and finally said, ‘Rasmus, that’s enough.’ There Hamrén lost a lot of players and also those who were close to him ”, says a player who was in the locker room in a fragment.

The story has been commented on by many.
– That things about him and others happen in the locker rooms … it always happens, it’s part of a locker room mentality; then sometimes you behave, sometimes you exaggerate. It’s the same if you see something happen in training. The Olof / Fredrik event is one of those things. This is what happens, if not daily, at least fairly frequently. Let them turn on each other. It is also part of football, Lasse Richt told GP.

– I could say things that would surprise Swedish football about how it has behaved. I wondered more than once if it was worth staying. It was high-level adult bullying. This is something you basically have to report to the police. It was horrible, says a “longtime leader” anonymously to Sportbladet.
To get PR and “clicks”
Now the general secretary of the Swedish Football Association, Håkan Sjöstrand, is also speaking to Sportbladet.
– I do not defend the black paint that now makes Sweden’s greatest and most outstanding soccer player of all time, says Sjöstrand.
Sjöstrand points out that he didn’t read Lundh’s book, but he still doesn’t give much of the information included in it.
– I think more that it’s about wanting to write about Zlatan and trying to dramatize and say things so that there is some interest in the book. To get PR and “clicks,” he tells Sportbladet.
