This is not the first time the same man has appeared in films made by criminals in Malmö. The now suspect appears, among other things, in a film in which a serious criminal threatens a person with a weapon.

Police investigators who specialize in investigating the content of mobile phones have concluded that the movie filmed at Helsingborgsgatan in Malmö was likely shot sometime in June last year, according to sources. The same sources affirm that it is a well-known young criminal in his 20s who deals the blow.

He had previously been convicted, among other things, of assault.

After the police in mid-September this year were able to establish that the alleged assault took place at Helsingborgsgatan in Malmö, a report was made. A few days later, the movie was shown on TV3’s Wanted.

According to the police, the film is genuine and shows a real assault.

– Yes, absolutely, we work from outside, said previously the leader of the preliminary investigation Hanna Hagberg.

After the search, the police contacted a woman believed to be the same person who appears to have been beaten in the film.

Sentenced to probation

The man who is suspected of hitting her according to the film is visible enough for police to identify him. But the police also have a mobile phone that was seized in the spring. The mobile phone and its contents are part of the murder investigation, according to sources.

Suspicions against him are weak at the moment. He has not been heard or had the opportunity to respond to the police suspicions.

He has been sentenced to a long series of years in, among other places, the Malmö District Court. According to a verdict from earlier this year, he must have been linked to serious organized crime.

He has also appeared and has been convicted of involvement in bank card fraud where, above all, older people have been deceived and have been spared large sums.

In the latest verdict against him, the district court claims that the crimes he committed would have landed him in jail if he had served 20 years when they were committed. Instead, he was sentenced to probation and undergo a treatment program.
