According to the Public Ministry, extensive police work is behind the decision to arrest the 24-year-old, who was arrested in his absence and detained on Tuesday, in another municipality.
No later than Friday, a decision will be made on whether to request the man’s arrest.
The murder weapon was probably found
Since December, the police have carried out extensive investigative work. Hundreds of interrogations have been carried out and technical investigations and studies have been carried out, including with the help of surveillance cameras.
Police have also asked the public for help, among other things, in identifying a knife believed to be the murder weapon. Where the knife was found, the police do not want to reveal. Two bicycles have also been interesting in the investigation.
I tried to intervene
Kjäll was killed in the restaurant by masked perpetrators, when he intervened when a riot broke out between the masked people and the restaurant staff.
