Over the next few days, the weather will vary greatly depending on where you live. SMHI has issued class 1 warnings for the Northern Lapland trap and inland Norrbotten, where very strong winds are expected.

During Monday night, the wind will pick up in the north, with winds of more than 20 meters per second.

– There will be a lot, a lot of wind. It can make up for it, trees can fall and we can see more local power outages like there were on Monday, says Maria Augutis.

In southern Sweden, calmer weather is forecast Monday night, with diminishing winds.

Wind is decreasing from the south – a new rain zone is approaching

Tuesday will continue to be windy from the north, but the wind will decrease from the south.

– It will continue to be windy in the far north, and there will also be showers in the mountains, with elements of snow on higher ground.

In South Norrland, a new rain zone will move in from the west.

– It moves north at night, says Maria Augutis.

Summer heat in the south

In the south and east of Götaland, the temperature can rise to around 20 degrees.

– It’s hot for the season!

Wednesday seems to be very sunny in southern Sweden.

– These are the same areas, Götaland and actually also up to Stockholm. The warmest can be 22 degrees, says Maria Augutis.

Later this week, climate changes await with a more unstable climate:

– But the prognosis there is uncertain when there is so much time left, concludes Maria Augutis.
