Reforms of just over SEK 100 billion
To accelerate the recovery and stimulate the economy, the government is proposing a global fiscal stimulus with reforms of just over SEK 105 billion in 2021 and just over SEK 85 billion in 2022. Funds from the Recovery Fund are expected to the EU contribute to the funding.

The government has previously put forward the next proposals in the 2021 budget bill for jobs and adjustment. Today, the government can present more proposals comprising SEK 11 billion next year for financial security, strengthened skills and better job opportunities.
Among other things, the government proposes that funds be added to the unemployment insurance fund for a temporary extension until 2022 of the increase in benefit levels and the reduction of working conditions. After that, unemployment insurance will be reformed. The proposed addition amounts to almost SEK 6 billion in 2021.
