Autumn moves slowly through the country. From the interior of Lapland to the west of Dalarna, the average daily temperature is below ten degrees, which meteorologically means autumn. However, the Norrland coastal strip is not there yet, and it is definitely not the southern part of the country.
Next week Götaland can expect several days, especially Wednesdays and Thursdays, with sunshine and temperatures of up to 20 degrees, which is unusual for this time of year.
– It is quite hot to be Götaland, I would say, although it is not many days like that it is, says Stina Kihlgren, meteorologist at SMHI.
Also in parts from Svealand, relatively hot temperatures await next week.
But it is important to take the opportunity to enjoy the heat of September. Because even the last warm days of the year can come. Cooler temperatures already await next weekend.
– So we talk about between 10-15 degrees during the day. So there will be slightly lower temperatures overall after Thursday and onward, says Stina Kihlgren.
