On social media, opposition politician Alexei Navalny sends a new greeting. In an image that was uploaded to social media on Saturday, Navalny is seen walking down a flight of stairs.
In a post on Instagram, he writes that it is a long rehab that awaits him and that he still cannot use his phone. She also describes difficulties such as pouring a glass of water and that, despite the image, she has difficulty climbing stairs.

But he also praises the Berlin hospital doctors for his recovery.
“They have taken me from being a ‘technically alive person’ to someone who has a great chance of becoming a man who can quickly scroll through Instagram and understand, without having to think about where to hit the Like button.”
This comes a few days after Navalny made a first Instagram update about his health on Tuesday, five days after he was unplugged from his respirator.
“Hi Navalny here, I miss you all. I still can hardly do anything, but yesterday I was able to breathe on my own all day. Really on my own,” he wrote then.
The condition is improving
German doctors have established that Navalny was poisoned with the novitjok neurotoxin developed by the Soviets. It is the same substance that has been used against former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter in the English city of Salisbury two years ago.
Navalny has been hospitalized in Berlin after falling ill aboard a flight between Siberian Tomsk and Moscow on August 20. After a couple of days, he was airlifted to the Charité Hospital in Berlin.
Russian doctors who treated Navalny in Siberia before he was brought to Berlin have repeatedly said they ruled out poisoning as his tests for toxic substances came back negative, Reuters writes.
