A 55-year-old man was found dead in an apartment building in Märsta.
Police arrested a man suspected of murder.
Tonight, the police rushed to an apartment building in Märsta, north of Stockholm, after an alarm. Inside a dead man was found.
– Someone who was at the scene alerted the police at 10:34 p.m. It is classified as murder, says Jari Kalliorinne, a duty officer for the Stockholm Police.
A man in his 35s has been arrested on suspicion of the crime. Currently, the police cannot answer if the victim and the perpetrator had any connections before.
– I don’t dare to answer that, it remains to be seen in the investigation.
The site has been cordoned off and police are conducting a technical investigation overnight.
– We hold witness hearings and knock on doors in the area, says Jari Kalliorinne.
