During the year, the entertainment organizer, Krall Entertainment, has had to cancel several concerts and music tours due to corona. To this end, they have been awarded a crisis aid of 10 million crowns, the highest amount paid in crisis aid.
According to a DN review, they have received support for 27 performances with “GES – Stop the world for a while”, seven performances with “Danny Saucedo – Run (A) way Show” and 20 performances with “Magnus Carlsson – From Barbados to the Old Town “. .
All the concerts have moved to next year.
At the same time, the company has reported 440 times to the General Board of Complaints, where they decided not to follow the recommendation of the ARN.
The investigation began this summer after hundreds of people failed to get their money back for canceled events.
“An extremely correct application”
However, the RNA recommendation is only indicative and not binding.
“We therefore closely monitor these types of issues to ensure that our conditions that grant recipients must comply with the Swedish constitution are met,” writes Greta von Röxen Stövind, General Counsel to the Swedish Arts Council, in an email to DN.
At the same time, the owner of the company, Patrik Krall, is unaware that the Swedish Arts Council is investigating Krall Entertainment.
– We have made an extremely correct application. It is very transparent and clear, Patrik Krall tells DN.
The Swedish Arts Council will take samples if they are eligible for the grant.
