The encounter between Brage and Gais in Domnarvsvallen was characterized by the fight, the duel and the decisive individual errors; the latter caused Brage’s goal 2-0 as August Wängberg slid into decisive position. Robbin Sellin caught up, served André Kamp who on the other side of the penalty area came across new acquisition Douglas Karlberg. Before that, Gais had returned to the match after a goal conceded – they managed to cut through Richard Yarsuvat after a delicate assist from Adnan Maric, but they didn’t come close.

Coach Stefan Jacobsson was visibly disappointed after the game:

– Of course you are disappointed, we play a good game, our whole game works quite well and we are the team that is closest to taking the lead. So you shouldn’t let go of counterattacks like that … I’m disappointed with the referee who allows this movement of the ball to take place, according to him it’s four or five meters but in my opinion much more. That practically puts us in that position. It’s too far for the ball to start from there … But, it’s only to break on the bus and then come back, says Jacobsson on Dplay and continues:

“Knife to Throat Problems”

– It is very difficult – we have turned around and we see that we are in a better period, then Agge slides (August Wängberg… Forcing is too stressed, but it is easy to stand on the edge and think and think.

The away game continues to be problematic for Gais.

– I don’t really know what makes us unable to get so many points. Of course it is difficult to play with the knife to the throat, but at the same time we have been there all season and we have fought. As soon as you worry about risking losing a match, it will be difficult, says Stefan Jacobsson.
