Tishko Ahmed, 23, was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Wilma Andersson, 17.
The verdict was appealed and tomorrow the trial will begin in the Court of Appeals.
Wilma’s entire body has yet to be found and her mother is now appealing for everyone to continue searching for her daughter’s remains.
The trial against Tishko Ahmed will begin tomorrow in the Court of Appeal. He was sentenced to life in prison in July for the murder of 17-year-old Wilma Andersson and for disorderly conduct.

The police have only found Wilma Andersson’s head.
It was packed in a bag in a closet in former boyfriend Tishko Ahmed’s apartment.

Mother appeals
The rest of the body has not yet been found. Wilma’s mother, Linda Andersson, calls on everyone not to give up and keep looking.
“I would be very grateful if people kept looking and watching. And tip the police,” Linda writes in a text message to Aftonbladet.

And the police have not given up.
– When it is noticed in the media, new advice emerges on where to find it. If there is relevant advice, we will go looking. I usually send dog patrols, says Crime Commissioner Sten-Rune Timmersjö.
Still hopes
The voluntary organizations Fikk (Voluntary Efforts in Times of Crisis and Disasters) and Missing Persons also continue to search Uddevalla.
– Every weekend, Fikk or Missing People, or both organizations, have performed. They turn to us and ask us where to look. There aren’t many weekends where they haven’t been out, says Sten-Rune Timmersjö.
He is still hopeful that the rest of Wilma’s body will be found.
– We have searched very carefully, but Uddevalla and its surroundings are great. You are always hopeful, but sadly they diminish over time.

“Extensive violence”
The district court wrote in last summer’s ruling that Ahmed “exposed the younger and physically inferior bride to widespread violence that took place even when she was low to the ground. The incident took place in the shared house ”.
Tishko Ahmed has always denied wrongdoing, both during police questioning and during the trial.
He has given various explanations that, according to him, would prove his innocence.
However, the district court did not believe their stories.
The hearing in the Court of Appeal will begin tomorrow.
