According to the prosecutor, serious environmental crimes were committed in various places in the country between 2015 and 2020.
Bella Nilsson, her husband Thomas Nilsson and a third person were arrested Tuesday afternoon by the Värmland District Court.
The third person is also suspected of a serious money laundering offense. According to the prosecutor, this crime was committed in 2016.
– The three are detained for a serious environmental crime during the period 2015 to 2020. It has occurred in different parts of the country. One of these people is also detained for a serious environmental crime in Karlstad in 2016, that person is also detained for a serious money laundering crime in connection with this, says Robin Simonsson.
Bella Nilsson owns and operates the NMT Think Pink waste management group with three subsidiaries. The business is carried out mainly through the subsidiary NM Trading & Transport.
On Saturday, the police task force attacked Bella Nilsson’s home. A large number of policemen spent several hours in the village conducting a search of the house and obtaining evidence.
