Series runner-up Häcken had a good chance to get close to Malmö FF at the top of the Allsvenskan.
With two games less played, they had a chance to win both games hanging and reduce Malmö’s lead to one point.
But it was an equally hungry and playful Sirius who came to Bravida.
Dahlberg’s double salvo
The first half was played well and even Häcken had a very good position while Sirius had three clear chances.
Stefano Vecchia was about to clear the reduction after having pushed the entire defense away from the left side, but the shot went straight into the goalkeeper’s arms.
Even when Yukiya Sugita fired a strong shot, Dahlberg was alert and had time to get down and save.
But in the ninth minute of the second half, the long goalkeeper could not resist. Axel Björnström broke free and passed him.
Receipt haunted
After a few more minutes, Häcken started looking for a draw.
But there was an idea: the misdirected ball turned into a cross towards Sirius, who was waiting for it in the box.
With just over ten minutes to go, Sirius had a golden opportunity to close out the match.

Häcken pushed, but went into extra time before Häcken scored the penalty that Jasse Tuominen pressed.
By the way, it was Häcken’s second penalty this year.
“There is a bit of excitement when there is overtime and points at stake, but I’m glad I was able to help,” says penalty taker Jasse Tuominen.
– It would have been better if we had won, but it was a difficult match, Sirius offered a strong resistance and we must be happy with the points. We take the positive from this game. But it’s more of a two point loss, it’s our home and we always want to win.
