No one has yet been arrested after a brutal kidnapping of a man in his 40s in Helsingborg on Sunday. The man himself claims that three or four masked men forced him into a car in Helsingborg at 3.30 pm.
Only a few hours later, at 9pm Sunday night, the man was found in Billesholm, just over 20km from Helsingborg, after he was dumped and was able to sound the alarm to the police himself. He is said to have been pressured for money, and the head of the police guard preliminary investigation tells Aftonbladet that the perpetrators, among other things, have tried to separate body parts from the body.
Police are silent on the traces of the perpetrators, but say they are now trying to call who may be behind the brutal kidnapping.
– Person has been kidnapped by unknown perpetrators in Knutpunkten (in Helsingborg, editor’s note). We watch surveillance films, police spokeswoman Åsa Emanuelsson tells TT.
The man is being treated at the hospital with serious injuries and police are urging the public to get in touch with leads.
– We would like to receive suggestions, if you have noticed something, says Åsa Emanuelsson.
