The hairdresser who was shot was an innocent victim of an internal gang arrangement, according to information from Aftonbladet.

The man sitting in the barber chair was the intended target.

And he will belong to the same group that was behind the shooting amid the fever on Friday.

On Friday, a masked and armed man entered the hairdresser in central Borås and fired several shots.

The shooter took aim at a man who was sitting in one of the hairdresser chairs, and the intended target should belong to the criminal gang environment in Borås. He had previously been convicted of, among other things, several cases of offenses involving firearms and drugs.

The target managed to escape unscathed from the shots. Behind it was the hairdresser who did not do so well. He threw himself to the side but was shot in the leg.

– When I entered, he was lying on the ground in a pool of blood. It was a nightmare. He’s completely innocent, a relative of the hairdresser told Aftonbladet yesterday.

The hairdresser was taken to the hospital by ambulance and has undergone surgery for his injuries.

Tasks: high-ranking criminals

The shooter fled the scene and began a major police chase. Later, four men in their 20s and 30s could be arrested in a parking lot in central Borås, not far from the hall.

According to information from Aftonbladet, the detainees have ties to organized crime and must belong to the same network as the intended target. And the injured hairdresser must have been affected by an internal conflict in the group.

– My relative is a completely innocent person who has been a victim of this and it will probably change his life. It is unacceptable that a shooting could take place like this, in the middle of a bright day on an open street in the very center and affect innocent people. “I think the police and politicians should stop this,” a relative at the salon tells Aftonbladet.

All were later arrested by prosecutors on duty on suspicion of attempted murder.

On Sunday, the prosecutor decided that the four would be released as they could not be linked to the crime scene at the time of the attempted murder.

– The arrest has been lifted by the prosecutor on duty. People have been questioned and their statements have been compared. After that, the prosecutor concluded that none of them was in the hairdresser and fired the shots, says Robin Simonsson of the Public Ministry press service.

Neither the police nor the prosecutor want to comment on whether the shooting is related to organized crime.

– The prosecutor cannot comment on who the target was or if there is any connection to the gang crime, says Robin Simonsson.

The case is now being investigated further by the police authority.
