Luleå Hockey / MSSK won this afternoon’s SDHL debut on the road against HV71 4-0. A really strong effort yielded a reassuring victory.
It was a fairly even and dangerous first period, but the guests took over the puck a bit more and reached more finals than their opponents. And five minutes before the break it was also 0-1 when Michela Cava took the puck into the offensive zone, dribbled Emma Nordin, who very well found the net with a direct and sharp shot. 0-1 highlighted the period that felt like a fair result in terms of the game.
Norrbottningar put another gear in the middle round where they dominated the game. They also received dividends for their good game. Nicoline Jensen made a good 0-2 after a good game of applause with compatriot Josefine Persson as they took advantage of a two-on-one position. Jenni Hiirikoski then fixed the 0-3 with a strong wrist shot from the blue line and it was a real climb for HV71 before the third period.
Just a minute after the third period, Ebba Berglund struck a rock-hard shot from her back position and it was 0-4. Luleå Hockey / MSSK defended their lead really well and the home team was never very close to getting into the game.
