Young couples want something new and green
Stakeholders for newly-built households include mainly young couples, families with children with young children, or older couples with children living outside the city. Henrik Lenander sees positive development in several of the country’s medium-sized cities, such as Karlstad, Jönköping and Helsingborg, where newly built areas often become close to the city, with good access to schools, communications and commerce.
– The situation is the most important when our customers choose newly produced products. But of course, there are also advantages in the fact that modern houses are very space efficient, energy efficient and comfortable. In 2020, we have spent more time at home than ever. Therefore, many demand a lot of space, extra workspace, and a smart floor plan.
He adds at the same time that there is a parameter that surpasses many other things when the buyer has to decide.
– Almost everyone today wants solid terraces or balconies, as well as green space and garden opportunities. It is very clear that we want the opportunity to spend time outdoors through spaces that belong to the home.
