Adnan Maric shooter unexpected for Gais against Sundsvall

The team met on August 15 and then Sundsvall won at home with a clear 3-0. But Gais is starting to put things in order, despite visitor Dennis Olsson taking the lead after nine minutes at Gamla Ullevi.

Before the new acquisition of BK Häcken, Richard Yarsuvat tied, Adnan Maric, a moment after the break, hit a sloppy return from Sundsvall skipper Andreas Andersson and hit 2-1.

– It feels like shit, it’s that simple. We are in a bad moment and we need to come together as a group. Personally, it doesn’t feel right when I drop the ball and they push it. It’s a shame, Andersson says on Dplay.

“You are the skull of a winner”

Adnan Maric was in a better mood.

– I’m happy, you always look for the three points. But it was not a very special goal. I was just poking it. You get frustrated when things like this happen in the other direction, but now it was our turn to have a little luck even if we deserved it, says the midfielder.

When did you last score?

– Good question. I haven’t played that much, but it must have been last season in Swansea with their U23 team.

With just half an hour to go, Julius Lindberg scored 3-1 and Gais posted his second straight win and has a breather at the bottom of the table.

“Don’t talk too much”

– We shouldn’t talk too much after two wins, we must have our feet on the ground, but you can definitely see an improvement. We have put together the group and the game well. We are well on our way. But it is still hard work and the approach applies.

What have you contributed yourself?

– Also a difficult question. But maybe energy and a little bit of positivity. I learned a lot at Häcken, but it is clear that getting involved in this way means much more.
