Lasse Kronér in the “Doobidoo” studio, where he joins the fifteenth season of the SVT program tonight.
Tonight, “Doobidoo” begins again, but this year’s season is full of deadly seriousness.
SVT’s popular gaming show was threatened when Lasse Kronér suddenly fell ill with covid-19:
– I have no memory of these programs. Everything was dark, he says.
If you click SVT1 tonight at 20:00, you may think for a moment that you have ridden a time machine.
Because here it comes Lasse kronér, 57-year-old, stand up and guide the long-distance runner “Doobidoo,” in front of something as exotic as a spectator:
– We started filming this year’s season before the crown came. It feels very strange to see the studio audience today, as if on the show we completely missed it all with social distancing, Lasse says when Fredag calls.
Audience in three episodes
In the premiere season of the popular game show compete Babben Larsson and Tobias Persson against Gunilla Backman and Kalle moraeus. Episodes two and three were also filmed before the corona virus arrived, but by the time we got to episode four, the studio audience has disappeared:
– I remember getting up and giving a fiery speech where I informed the viewers about the crown and everything that had happened. You might feel a bit dated when you see it now, Lasse says with a laugh.

Lasse Kronér is still plagued by the corona virus.
Even then, I knew this year’s “Doobioo” season would be unique, but that was only the beginning. Because suddenly what was not allowed happened: Lasse Kronér himself fell ill with covid-19.
– For a long time it was very unclear if it would even be a season, so for me it is very special that we managed to row in port, says Lasse Kronér.
Marked by disease
– The study had to stand still for a month, waiting to see how it developed. Of the guests who were booked, many also fell ill and others did not want to expose themselves to the risk of infection. It was a great puzzle, he continues.
Lasse Kronér recovered, but he was still very tired and marked by illness. However, he decided to continue recording the latest shows:
– I have no memory of these programs. Everything was dark. He was exhausted until just two weeks ago, it has taken so long, he says.
Collapsed before shipping
– When we banded, he obviously had antibodies, so he was not contagious. But once I broke down. They allowed me to lie down and rest for up to five minutes before the broadcast. Covid also gets into the head, you are not so fast in the mouth, Lasse continues.
Despite all the setbacks, today he is happy that it is still the 15th season for SVT long-distance runners:
– I am very happy that we have a season, that we have achieved it. Since we have a lot of observing time, it’s fun that we’re up and running again; I’m proud that we fixed it, he says.
