Nyamko Sabuni began the press conference by describing the problems in the country’s suburbs, pointing out, among other things, organized crime and criminal clans taking over entire areas.

By 2030, Sweden will have no vulnerable areas, according to Sabuni. Therefore, SEK 3 billion will be invested in the so-called “suburban boost” in the next budget.

– Children are shot in the street. We have to do something about it, he says.

L: to discard

According to Sabuni, municipalities often avoid caring for children who are doing poorly for financial reasons. Therefore, the state must provide funds so that more people can be served: 700 million in three years.

An investigation will be launched to take action against organized crime. Liberals want children in criminal settings to be cared for.

– Children should not stay with these families. They are the ones expected to inherit the crime, says Nyamko Sabuni.

Liberals also want to see a series of investments in the police and the judiciary, against extremism and crime.

– Swedish public funds are exploited by criminal gangs and religious and political extremists, says Johan Pehrson, spokesman for the party’s legal policy, also on site during the press conference.

You want to invest in Swedish

Liberals want a new census carried out in Sweden and, with the help of 385 million Swedish crowns, they are trying to attract experienced teachers to vulnerable schools. The party also wants to see a language investment in preschool of SEK 100 million to increase the child’s vocabulary.

They also want to invest in knowledge of the Swedish language in caring for the elderly.

– If health personnel lack language skills, we must fix it, says Nyamko Sabuni.
