On October 31, 2018, Norwegian billionaire Tom Hagen contacted the police. He claimed that his wife Anne-Eilsabeth Hagen had disappeared.
At home, the billionaire had found a letter in which he said that he had been kidnapped and that he had to pay 9 million euros in cryptocurrency to get it back. It was also claimed that he was not allowed to contact the police, which he did anyway.
According to Norwegian TV2, the police entered Fjellhamar’s home on the outskirts of Oslo that same night. Next, you should have brought a phone and carried out some simple forensic measurements.
In the following weeks, the police entered several times, made new investigations and seized various objects, reports TV2.
Seized and toilet brushes
Police took a special interest in the bathroom, where Anne-Elisabeth Hagen, according to one theory, must have been when she was attacked by one or more assailants.
The bathroom was the subject of extensive forensic investigations and the bathroom door, a toilet seat, a toilet ring, a hand soap and a toilet brush were seized.
This spring, a year and a half after the disappearance, Tom Hagen was arrested on suspicion of murder or complicity in the murder of his wife. According to the police, the threat letter from the kidnappers is a forgery from the businessman himself.
Hagen, who denies the crime, was released from jail eleven days later, but he remains a suspect and the house is being searched by police until September 21. As recently as last week, multiple police officers were seen entering with a camera.
The Hagen couple’s address, Sloraveien 4, has been described by the Norwegian criminal police as the most-investigated crime scene of all time in Norway.
