Per Ledin, 42, is now employed by SHL to stop filming and punish players who threaten safety on the ice.
– There is no corner of the SHL in which Per has not been, says the vice president of the SHL, Johan Hemlin.
In 10 days, the SHL will start.
And like the SHL clubs, the main organization, the SHL, is fine-tuning its roster and putting the right man or woman in the right place.
Now the league vice president, Johan Hemlin, chooses to choose the second most sent off player in SHL history, Per Ledin.
– Yes it’s correct. He will assist in the reference group together with Pontus Petterström. A good choice I think. Per has the routine of many SHL clubs and is a well-mannered young man, says Hemlin.

Pontus and Per must ensure that the players have good safety on the ice. This means ugly tackles result in suspension and filmmakers are punished. Both will be part of the reference group and will meet after SHL games and go through incidents on the ice. If the group agrees, the disciplinary committee is informed and the aggressor runs the risk of being suspended and fined.
– Pontus is the convener and it is he who has the mandate to summon the players who are on the border and, for example, tackled with their elbows a little high, or reinforcements, says Johan Hemlin.

Known as mockery
Ledin was known as a good skater with an attitude that few others. And he was also a recognized joker and a freak gamer.
– There is no corner of the SHL in which Per has not been, says Hemlin about the signing.
Ledin played 17 seasons in our highest league and has three golds in the Swedish Championship, as well as NHL and World Cup games on his CV.
Ledin will turn 42 in September and hasn’t played ice hockey in 18 months. The elite race is over.
Now he puts on a new hat, a sheriff’s hat to stop shit on the ice.
