Shortly after midnight, the boy was robbed. According to the police, no tools or weapons were used, but a man threatened the boy and took his mobile phone. After the robbery, the boy took the tram to the central station.
– He no longer had a mobile phone to call with, so he looked for a passerby from whom he could borrow a phone and alert the police, says Peter Adlersson, press spokesman for the police in the western region.
The police do not want to go into more detail about where the robbery occurred, but it should be somewhere in Bergsjön. The child has been heard during the night, but there should be no signal in the man.
– We have some information now initially, nor any suspects. Since the boy left the place, we didn’t have a search area either. When he did sound the alarm, it had been a while since it happened, says Peter Adlersson.
