SVT political commentator Mats Knutson, 56, suffered allergy shock on a live broadcast during tonight’s Aktuellt.
News anchor Cecilia Gralde explained that the swelling on Mats Knutson’s face was due to an allergic reaction.
A seemingly nonchalant Mats Knutson replied that it would probably turn out fine anyway.
Something in the food caused the bloating.
– I was bloated and was returning to the broadcast compared to what it was tonight, says Mats Knutson, to SVT Nyheter.
He asked the production not to do close-ups tonight.
– I feel fine and the swelling is likely to pass until tomorrow. I had an allergic reaction after dinner and have obviously eaten something that I can’t stand. Without drama, text Aftonbladet.
He tells SVT that he has previously been with similar ones 5-6 years ago.
– Then I suffered a similar reaction. Even then I couldn’t figure out what it was. I couldn’t identify what he had reacted to. But it’s been a long time, he tells the channel.
