– It was fun actually. Now, there were not so many Swedes here, but those who were here: thanks for all the support. It was fun that there were some who were clapping.
– It’s been public for a long time, it gives a different feeling when you walk in.
Millán de la Oliva has lined up performance after performance over the summer, gold in the Swedish Championship and junior records, among other things, and it is a new level of training that has paid off.
– I have trained hard now for six months. I have never trained so hard in my life. I have started elite investing and it has paid off.
“He has much higher goals”
TT: Do you have time to appreciate all your success now or are you just looking to the future?
– He’s driving, this is just the beginning. I have much higher goals than this.
And the objectives are clear.
– Of course I bet on Olympic medals. I will be among the best in the world. 26 minutes per mile, and I want to hit 12 minutes at 5,000. But of course, Olympic gold is the dream.
