When the boats were in the lake, the waves made waves that caused several of the boats to sink, reports CBS News.

Four ships are said to have sunk in the parade

The boats have reportedly warned of problems along the entire parade route. At least four ships are said to have sunk, the New York Times reports. There are no reports of injuries yet.

The rescue service must have pulled people out of the lake.

The sheriff’s authority is said to have stated that the high waves were the result of many boats being on the lake.

A tweeter has posted a dramatic image of a boat being surrounded by high waves.
