Many were surprised when Dejan Kulusevski did not take a place in the Swedish XI.

Dejan Kulusevski is the new favorite of Swedish football.
But the Juventus midfielder has yet to fully appease Janne Andersson. He failed to clinch a spot in the national team’s starting XI against France in the Nations League debut, but had to settle for a meeting in the 70th minute when he replaced Sebastian Larsson.
Following the 1-0 defeat, he expressed on C More his great disappointment at Janne Andersson’s decision.
– I think it was strange but it’s just to respect the decision, he says.
I hope to start next
– I was hoping to change the game, but sadly it didn’t work out today.
Did you have enough time to show something?
– No, no, I don’t think so. I was drowned. It felt really great in training. But sadly, that’s how football is. It’s just a matter of taking new steps in the next game.
Do you think there is a better chance of you starting then?
– I think they’re better. I hope so. But I don’t know, Kulusevski tells C More immediately after the game.
Andersson’s response to criticism
He was also disappointed in the loss.
– It’s very frustrating. I don’t think we should lose it. It doesn’t feel good right now.
Janne Andersson is shocked at the press conference when she hears the criticism:
– Oj. I myself have not spoken to him afterwards. But if you’ve said that, you probably feel that way. We will talk about that. I have not experienced him particularly shocked. He has done well, like many others. We’ll see if there will be more playing time on Tuesday. He has great qualities and will eventually become them.
