J-Södra took a major home win against AFC Eskilstuna tabletop players on Saturday night. When Akropolis lost to Ljungskile on Saturday morning, J-Södra had a chance to clinch third place, and they made no mistakes.

After half an hour played, Pa Konate made it 1-0 for the locals. But what stole the spotlight in the first half was when Aiham Ousou managed to get two yellow cards in three minutes for a red card.

J-Södra played the whole second half like this with one more man on the field, and they made the most of it. At eight minutes into the second half, Amir Al-Ammari made it 2-0 to J-Södra, and Al-Ammari himself also nailed the final score 3-0 in the final seconds of the match.

The victory means that J-Södra climbs to third place in the table with 29 points from 16 rounds. For the AFC, the loss means they remain tabletop jumbo after Ljungskile rallied with his win against Akropolis.

Next, Degerfors awaits J-Södra, while the AFC host Halmstads BK at home in Eskilstuna.
